Some Background.
Well there it is...1300 Willow Street. Coffeyville, Kansas
That's where I learned the value of a hard days work and a satisfied customer.
I never thought I'd go from selling wholesale goods to selling graphic design but,
hey, stranger things have happened.
To tell you the truth, I actually stumbled into graphics. After earning a bachelors
in English from the University of Kansas, I set out for Chicago and got a job as
a production artist (I had some experience). That was officially my crash course
in graphics: overworked, underpaid and completely educated.
After freelancing at a number of agencies, working as a creative director,
and acquiring my own roster of clients, I decided it was time to shake things up.
California, here I come.
In Los Angeles, I continued to work with agencies, but primarily, cultivated my own
diverse client list.
Nothing against the big boys, but I find having a small studio to
be a more personal environment where creativity is allowed to flow free...
like white gravy on buttermilk biscuits.
So that's my story: small town boy, big city, white gravy...graphic design.
Now I'm in Colorado Springs...and did I mention I have a Trunk Monkey?
Our Focus.
Here at 1300Willow, we focus on two things: Effective Solutions & Satisfied clients.
We offer comprehensive services that range from print and web to marketing
and consultation.
Our Advantage.
Operating as a virtual studio, we offer great flexibility and accessibility to our clients,
as well as the artists and programmers we work with. This means we can offer agency
quality without agency cost.
Our Goal.
We work to make our clients feel well taken care of by a trusted friend. We're never
out for a quick buck and find great value in the long term relationships we have nurtured
over the years and continue to develop.
So...
I love what I do and I love helping people. I've been at this graphics gig for over 15 years
now and I don't plan on a career change any time soon. If you've got a project and need
some help...lemme know.
